MS Caregivers Academy was founded in 2020 to provide continued professional development for healthcare professionals — and for professionals across other service sectors who care for people for a living.
Our story
MS Caregivers Academy began with a simple observation: the people doing the most demanding, most human work in healthcare — bathing, feeding, medicating, comforting — often had the least access to structured, affordable, recognised training. Formal CPD programmes existed, but they were built for hospitals and institutions, not for the individual caregiver working a night shift in London or a home-care assistant supporting a family in Aberdeen.
We set out to close that gap. Since 2020, we've built an online learning platform specifically for caregivers, health assistants and nursing professionals — and, over time, for professionals in other service sectors where the quality of care and conduct directly affects someone else's wellbeing, from hospitality to private domestic service. Every course we publish is designed to be studied around a working life, not instead of one.
